About

Welcome to White Rockit Books — the tiny publishing house with big “blast-off” energy.
We combine professional production with a fiercely indie spirit. Most of our titles are written by Fee O’Shea (yes, the one who keeps putting far too many manuscripts on the desk at once), with the occasional pen-name adventure and a small roster of other authors we genuinely enjoy working with.

Our mission? To publish books with soul and stories with ideas that make readers think, smile, lean forward, and occasionally snort tea out their nose. (We take no responsibility for keyboard damage. None.)

Small press. Big stories.
White Rockit Books.

The Personal Side

I have been working on the internet since the mid-2000s. In those days, it was all about the content. Websites were cumbersome and full of articles stuffed with keywords, and most of them did not make a lot of sense.

Then came blogging, and that was where I excelled. Writing a blog is far easier than writing a book. Trust me, I know! Because I also began writing books. Non-fiction to start!

Along with all this, I began ghostwriting. This was both fun and enthralling. The stories I heard were wonderful.

Then I was approached by other indie authors who needed help with self-publishing and so White Rockit Books was born.

I’m in my happy place when I’m writing and creating, and to give you some idea – here are two of my websites:

Painting With Pastels – a resource site for pastel painting.

Over Coffee – my personal blog.

And then there are the books all published under White Rockit Books

On a personal note:

Classified as a ‘Senior Citizen’ I refuse to sit on my laurels. My three children and seven grandchildren all live too far away for me to be busy in their lives. I make use of the time walking the beach, writing more books (including novels), improv comedy, painting and dancing in my lounge!

I occassionally go cat-sitting to give me my fill of fur-babies, and I am a crazy op-shopper and up-cycler of sad and lonely furniture.

White Rockit Books is my way of helping a select few (I’m supposed to be retired) and to keep my creative juices flowing.
